I thought that the opening was fantastic. I especially liked to see the variety of ways in which the work was displayed. I don't think this was a typical meetup, but rather an invite to an event in NYC in which people came and went on their own schedule.

No other photographers from this group including the organizer showed up. The fashion show was nice but no one from the La Vie nor the designer was aware of that this group had meetup. Fortunately the designer and the official photographer didn't have a problem with me being there. The designer's only concern was assurance that she would get credited. Although I did have a good time at this event I'm disturbed by the way that it was planned. Simply listing a fashion event as a meetup without making some kind of arrangement with those involved (the venue and definitely the designer) could cause problems for those who show up unexpected with cameras ready to take photos.
